Start by applying a face primer (I used Avon Illuminating Face Perfecter). Using a stippling brush, apply foundation all over face (Clinique Stay-Matte Foundation). Use a pressed powder to set foundation (Clinique Stay-Matte Sheer Powder). Apply Maybelline Instant Age Rewind to cover dark circles. Sweep bronzer in a “3 motion” over face – bronzing the places the sun would naturally hit – forehead, cheeks, chin. (Pixi Subtly Suntouched Bronzer). Don’t forget to blend your bronzer down your neck! Apply a light pink blush to the apples of your cheeks (BH Cosmetics Light Pink Blush). Blend, blend, blend until bronzer and blush look natural.
Apply a small amount of eye primer (Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer). Start by sweeping Limit from the Naked 3 Pallette all over lid. Then taking a smaller brush, apply Nooner to the outer corner of the eye and through the crease. Using a larger fluffy brush, blend colors together until you achieve your desired look. Next take Strange on a smaller brush (I sometimes use my finger for this step), apply to the inner corners/tearduct area of eye. This will help to brighten up your eyes. Take Strange again and apply under Browbone and Arch of eyebrow as a highlight.
Next, take your favorite eyeliner in black or brown (I used Avon’s True Black Kohl Eyeliner). Apply a thin black line on the upper lashline. (This step is optional – but if you are having trouble drawing a straight line or want a more smokey type of look – take Blackheart (or any dark eyeshadow) on a liner brush and press into upper lash line over your eyeliner). Take your black pencil eyeliner (I would NOT recommend using a gel/liquid eyeliner for this step) and tightline your eye (I find it easiest to lift lashes up and line my inner tightline that way – this takes some getting used to but I promise it makes all the difference). Apply nude eyeliner to lower waterline to brighten eyes and make you appear more awake. Curl lashes and apply favorite mascara (Maybelline The Rocket Mascara to top lashes and Maybelline Great Lash to lower lashes).
Use brow pencil to define eyebrows into desired shape (Avon Glimmerstick Brown Definer). Use Benefits Watt’s Up! to highlight cheekbones, under eyebrows, and above top lip. Blend in. Apply Nude lipstick to finish off look (Rimmel Nude Delight).
